Mass Air flow sensor problem

i Just bought a 95 eclipse gst 5 speed and the check engine lights on and it said the #4 wire on the mass air flow sensor is faulty so my question is were does that #4 wire go to so i can replace it THANK YOU

i have bought a haynes manual and it does not have wiring schematics for it

im getting a a code 4 o2 sensor also i took out ecu and looked very carefully and there was nothing. i found a harness coming off the ecu with 10 wires going to a plastic connector... is that for safc?

So first, you do have a EPROM ECU.
You can see in the first picture that the SAFC harness is still connected to the car's ECU harness and that disconnects the MAF input signal from the ECU. It's the reason you are getting the P0100 code.

In the third picture you can see what looks like a 1G ECT sensor (which may be serving as a plug in the thermostat housing) and I believe the 2G ECT sensor above it. Double check the connector and wires colors with the tech article in the VFAQs forum here along with the normal test connectors in the fourth picture.

ok thank you very much so what do i do then disconnect the safc harness? i dont wanna mess it up anymore.. like i said a buch of stuff was stolen out of car before i bought it so i have no idea.. not that i did before that anyways

What you need to do is disconnect the SAFC harness from the MAF signal and reconnect them.
There should be a pink and and orange wire from the SAFC harness going to the ECU harness blue with yellow stripe wire with bullet connectors on the them. Connect the blue/yellow wires back together leaving the pink and orange loose.

in that last picture what do those three connectors go to? Mine are just laying there not connected like those in the pic. But im not getting a CEL for anything.

IIRC those are timing check, fuel pump test, and something else I forget. They are normally not connected to anything.
