MAF/MAS problem on a 2G

Hi guys

I've recently purschased a 95 GST with a 6 bolt swap. I Made the wiring for the CAS correctly using the Raod Race writing. No the car start fine but run way to rich , its puffing black smoke and idling like it has 280 crower cam , but has stockish ones in....

Car had an SAFC 2, but it was unpluged and some wire were spliced in , checked them all and they were fine. Afterward I tought it was the MAS....and i was right. The car idle/run bad even if the MAS is plugged in or not. Tried another one known to be working and same thing.

What can be the problem ? ECU to MAS plug connection? I know its MAS realted since when i unplug some vacuum (more air sucked in engine) the car idle better and as soon as i plugged them back in idle goes down again.

Im ready to qui on this, been 3 days trying to figure this out. What can it really be?

The SAFC has a wires that requires cutting the mass signal wire. you have to connect both the wires together when you remove the SAFC.

I know bu all the wire seem to be all together, thats why its really strange any other output?

What size are the injectors?
Sounds like the SAFC may have been installed for a reason.

Should be the stock 2G 450CC, the thing is that plug or unplug (MAS) th car dosent have any improvement and run the same

Every time I've seen someone have a bad MAS, they've also had a DTC thrown for it.

Try unplugging one injector, one by one - to see what injector is causing it to run like crap.
Also snap a pic of the injectors or get the serial number/color from them.

The SAFC has to be plugged in and wired correctly, otherwise it'll run like poo.
