maf adapter (cheap)

hello all, sharing the good news i found out today.

i was at oreilly's helping a buddy out change out his tranny fluid in his ls teg. anyways, something shiny caught my eye, and it looked similar to the 2g maf adapter that is sold starting at 18.99 and up...and its made by spectre. i was pleased with air filter i bought, and got it for 12.99. not too bad, part number 81403

Wow. Excessively long length before air filter.

eBay is also a place to look to find those super cheap. There really isn't too much to the design.

Spectre intake parts are so over priced.

12.99 vice 18.99? and you can hack it down, i think i will when i get something to replace my 1g intake tube, i had an adapter on there, one from the filter, to clamp the silicone coupler on there for now, but i plan on getting something like a dejon intake, or make my own somehow.
