I replaced my throttle body shaft seals last night with the Mach V Motorsport ones. I just wanted to make sure I did it correctly. The Mach V ones seemed bigger and didn't fit in the metal casing for the O-ring. So I just want to make sure that I don't use the old Metal casings at all with the Mach V throttle body shaft seals. I don't want to reinstall it and mess up the car. I installed everything back together with out the metal casings and it seems to be fine. (Better to be safe than sorry.)

If you purchased these:
You must be logged in to view this image or video.

Then you simply press them in (grease them up first), and throw your original seals in the garbage.

(If you were to remove that green outer rubberized seal, you'd see that they contain a metal sleeve and black rubber o-ring, much like the seals you replaced.)

Great, that is what I need to know. When I pulled the metal sleaves out, the orginal o-rings were already obliterated. So I had nothing to really compare it to. I thought that might be the case, but I want to be a 100% sure. Thanks for advice.
