LSD, Removing Front Axle Shafts

I want to run Rear wheel drive in my talon this summer.

Will it work if I install a Front or center LSD or weld the diff? What do I need to do To make it work without damaging anything?

This isn't because you think it will be totally B.A. to drift around is it? If you make enough power, you can do that with AWD too
