I'm swapping a '95 LSD Rear Diff in my non '98 LSD. Are 1g LSD Rear Axles the same as 2g?

No. 1G and 2G have different suspensions and axles. They do not interchange from any of the years. If you have a 2G then you'll need 2G axles.
