As has been pointed out before, you would want to go talk to the Turbo Buick guys about this, as they've been doing it for some time now.
My impression is that it's considered quite OK.
Bear in mind with all these discussions that while the application to the DSM is new, the techniques surrounding the use of the MAF & translator have been reasonably well established, even by our somewhat pedantic standards. 8)
