well, this question seems to keep getting put aside. are there 2 different ones for the dsm to cover both 1g and 2g harness differences? one of the ramchargers guys said the 3kgt was calibrated differently, so that's not an option.
 
OK I am back I was in the hospital for a few days unexpectedly but am getting back up to speed just got home today. The factory GM sensors have rolled lips on them so a hose can be clamped to them as they are factory installed that way. We have not sourced the correct 2G plug as of today but should have that hammed out in a few days. We SHOULD begin shipping Tues. For you guys that have 2G's or 3S cars we WILL have the correct plug for you (don't make this sucks type posts I was sick) hopefully in a few days but until then you will have to splice it in.

woohoo.....i think im going to wait until you guys can supply the plug....Thanks man, would I be able to order one now so I know that I will get one or just wait until you have the plug thing figured out??
 
great to hear you're feeling better mike. please post up here when you have the 2g plug thing sorted out, and then you'll get my business too.
 
haha ok, so i ordered this off ramchargers.com two nights ago and now youre telling me that its the wrong plug? what am i supposed to do with this thing when it gets here? how will i make my 2g plug become adaptable to this?
 
Ok for those wanting to do the Sameri method of install so as to have it in the cockpit will a wire pinout come with the unit so i can informativly hack away.:D
 
At ANY hp level? A few guys have gone 10's with a 2G MAS. This is more of something to get when you are close to overrunning the 2G MAS. I think everyone is just jumping on the bandwagon cuz it's something new and cool, not something you can actually take advantage of. But, i digress.
 
I would like to hear more from people running the MAF w/ blow through in a turbo application. Seeing in excess of 300F on the intake track is not unheard of and how that is going to affect the MAF and tuning.
 
dsmturboawd mike said that he is going to ship all the orders on tuesday so, I suppose if you call him monday and you cancel your order or tell him to wait on it until he gets the 2G plug worked out, unless you want to do the 1G plug conversion.....just a thought

As has been pointed out before, you would want to go talk to the Turbo Buick guys about this, as they've been doing it for some time now.

My impression is that it's considered quite OK.

Bear in mind with all these discussions that while the application to the DSM is new, the techniques surrounding the use of the MAF & translator have been reasonably well established, even by our somewhat pedantic standards. 8)
