alright i'm new to the DSM scene...have only had mine for a little under a year and i wanna hopefully get some work done to it. I recently had a buddy of mine (going to school for auto tech) do some repairs/upgrades on my car since i'm slightly dumb when it comes to cars and he told me i have an independent rear suspension on my 99 Eclipse RS. he also said with independent suspensions you cannot put lowering springs or adjustable coilovers on without getting rid of the independent suspension. is this true? if it is how much work needs to be done, what kind of parts need to be purchased ...but if it isn't true then what would you all recommend as for lowering (i would say about 2"...3" at max). any help would be much appreciated.

, thanks for the quick replies...that is just the type of info i was looking for. i'll talk to him about that...they might not have covered that section quite yet or he may be going on what his dad used to tell him back in the day when he worked on cars. so i need an eibach prokit...kk that works, i'll see what i can find for those and maybe pick me up one. thanks again...i'm sure i'll be back with a LOT more questions regarding my DSM....plan on putting a lot of money into it and will need some steering advice.
