Lowering springs for a 1g?

I was wondering what people think are the best lowering springs to buy for a 1g that dont slam the car. I cant afford coilovers so im going with kyb struts and some kind of lowering springs. any pics would help alot. thanks

Well if your just looking to lower it alittle bit an eibach pro-kit would work perfect. I just got done putting my pro-kit on today.

i want it to lower a fair amount. just no 2" drop or anything. i want it to look nice and low but not to wear it messes up suspension

These are all the springs I can think of: FRONT/REAR

Eibach Pro kit= 1.0"/1.0"
Eibach Sportline= 1.8"/1.8"
H&R sport= 1.25"/1.0"
Tein S.Tech= 1.2"/1.6"
Megan= 2.0"/2.0"
Goldline= 2.0"/2.0"
Ebay brands from 2.0" to 2.25"

I'd stick with the proven name brands. Also, look at the spring rates before you decide. I have experience with the Eibach pro-kit. One inch isn't much of a drop but, for a daily, it's a very good height and very comfortable.

you will have to get yourself a camber kit for the rear. (easy to do but a pita to get the control arm out)
thats $50 or so and camber bolts for the front $20 at oreilly's I used KYB GR-2 struts.

Do NOT get tein springs for DSM's. Teir spring rates suck and are even lower than stock spring rates.

that talon is sick! i have the tein s-tech on my 2g and it is not low enough. if i had adjustable shocks maybe they would be but im using kyb gr2's
