I put on Tanabe GF-210 springs and Tokico Illumina shocks.

The springs are avertised at only dropping the car 1.2" but it dropped more like 2".

I can only get 1 1/4 finger in between the front tire and fender.

Soo, after a few months I changed my oil and noticed the inner cv boots were split. Grease everywhere.

I got them replaced and the shop said that I will continuly have this problem because of the angle of the axles due to the car being lowered.

After only a couple months they are torn again.

I have read that a few people have had the same problem but no one says what you can do if anything to keep them from tearing.

Would new / stiffer motor mounts help? Mine has the oem mounts w/ 115k miles.

A different style boot possibly from a different make car? Aftermarket boot?

Maybe going to Eibach pro springs in the front?

I can't keep replacing boot every two months......please help

new mounts probably won't help you to much. Their isn't really anything you can do about the angularity of the axels cept raise the car. a 2" drop is pretty steep. I've seen a lot of 2G's like that and most all of them have torn boots. You can look into some more heavy duty CV boots. Once they are installed you might want to try and push the smaller end of the boot as close to the joint as possible to try and kept it from pulling it's self apart..
