I need a lower timing cover for my 93 talon. I am going to a junkyard today to pick one up. I was wondering if there was a difference between 90-92 and 93-94 lower timing covers? If there is, what is it? Could I still use a 90-92 on my 93 if there is a differnece?
Thanks in advance.

If you have a stock 93 motor, you have a 7-bolt, and you can not use a lower timing belt cover from a 90 - 92, unless the 92 is a 7-bolt.

Here's a link that will help you if you do come across a 92.

Manufacturer dates Jan to Apr of 92 have 6-bolt blocks.
After April, everything became 7-bolts...
