Low rpm limp mode?

Hi, I currently own a 98 gst. I have ecmlink v3 and my ecu is fine. My car idles perfect but i have one issue. When i hold it between 1/8 to around 1/2 throttle, the rpms go from approx 1800-2000 then drop go back up again and again. This occurs in neutral and when the car is rolling. When creeping it makes the car buck. When i give it more throttle it just goes up and down at a faster rate.
Whats weird is that after that point, (approx half throttle) it will rev perfectly fine, what could possibly be the issue? It seems that my car is pulling my ignition timing, and it will go from 6 degrees to 22 degrees and back proportionally with the rpms, like, for example, if i keep it at 1/4 throttle

Guess no one really uses this site anymore. The issue was that idle switch operation was checked, and I have a 2g throttle body on my car, so it was never closing the idle circuit.

A similar thing was happening to me actually, my car was leaning out at a certain very low load range, I just had to adjust maf comp in the range and I was good to go.

Yes, I believe so, haha. It was in the category with rpm and tps adjustments. It was selected by default, so I hadn't bothered to uncheck it. I guess the 2g throttle body has an internal idle switch, the reason for the fourth pin on the tps plug.
