low idol and stall

I have a 95 gsx with 49000 miles on it. lately i have noticed that some times when i push the clutch in to slow to a stop the rpms drop to almost 200-300 rpms, some times its low enough to stall. I also noticed that it seems to be worse when its really hot out but thats probably a coincidnece. also it has some hesitation when i step on the gas. A guy i know who runs a repair shop said it was probably a bad maf sensor. Would this cause the idoling and stalling problems to?

Before you go replacing any parts make a boost leak tester and do a boost leak test on the car.

I couldent make one without leaks for the life of me.

Had to spend 15 for one online.
But I also couldent do anything mechanical wise then also.

You probly have a big enough leak to make you have no acceleration.
Unless you check your codes you won't know if your MAF is blown.
But from what your saying ITS NOT the Mass Air Flow sensor,

I just replaced mine cause it was blown and it wouldent rev past 3000 rpm.

its not like i have no acceleration it just is hesitaint at first i didnt notice it till the guy at the shop drove my car and pointed it out to me

Do a boost leak test.

Your throttle position sensor might be going bad. Do a boost leak test like suggested and check the tps. Good luck.

I think i solved the problem. i checked the clamps on my intake and every one of them turned like 3 or 4 turns so that would probably do it

Even though it is running better now you should still do a proper boost leak test. I do one every time I mess with my intake pipes and at every oil change. You will be surprised how many small ones you might find and your car will run even better if you fix them all.
