If I'm reading this right, you have moved the oxygen sensor from the O2 housing to the manifold, and are no longer running an O2 housing. Why would you do that?

I don't see oxygen being able to get passed the turbo up to the manifold with the engine running, there is too much pressure for that.

Okay I'm sorry for not being very clear on what I meant, to put it simply I have the upstream o2 in the 16g 02 housing, if I have a gap between the exhaust and the o2 housing could it cause a lean reading on my o2, when rpm goes above 2k there are no issues, but at idol back pressure is low, but is it low enough for cold air to reach the o2, because if this is happening my 02 sensor would give a lean reading and try to compensate by giving my car a whole lot of fuel

Why do you have a gap between 02 housing and exhaust? How/where is there a gap? Between turbo --> 02 housing?

To answer your question, yes it could cause a false readings and depending on the leak, exhaust getting into the interior of car would not be good either

Or is the gap AFTER the 02 housing

Before or after doesn't matter if you can SEE the gap its enough to suck in fresh air and throw off your ecu's o2 readings.

Yes a leak at the O2 housing, manifold, or turbo would cause incorrect readings on your O2 sensor. Thereby, it would cause the ECU to compensate for a problem that isn't really there.

Short version, fix your leak.

A leak after the 02 housing (sensor) wouldn't effect 02 readings
