Low idle, 400-500rpm?

I have a 1995 Talon Tsi AWD auto and it's idle is about 400/500 rpm. Car will sometimes stall on hills because the idle will drop even lower than 400/500rpm. Am I ok to ajust the throttle etc and get to to around 800/900rpm? Or will this throw it even further off?

Find the problem. If left ignored it could be much more serious later. Start with your IAC.

Have you tried adjusting idle..The little screw on the throttle body..

Thats what I want to try, someone said check o2 sensor... then I heard dont ajust the idle it will mess it up...

Do a boost leak, to see if there is an issue in the vacuum, If the result comes good, Then, adjust the BISS, and you will know that everything is good.

If nothing happens when you adjust the BISS screw then something might be really wrong....
