Low cost option for stock IC pipes.

I didn't see anything posted on this, or see anything jump at me about it when I did a quick search.

First of all, I don't recommend this "brand" of pipes on ebay. The pipes have to be recut, and in the end are a real PITA to get to fit even AFTER you've recut them.

I haven't got these new ones yet, as they're on a two week backorder, but I'm placing an order for them very shortly. They're low cost, and seem to be bent perfectly. I will definetly get back to you on them.

I would definately get those pipes from Punishment Racing. With them you know you are going to get a good product.

I wonder if Punishment would change the type of flange on the 2G piping kit if you requested it (either for little or no charge). I'm guessing they would gladly do it; I don't see why they would object to something like a simple request like this.

Yea i wish i would have known how crappy those ebay ones were before i bought them also. Did you even get them to fit at all? Ive tried messing with them but no luck so far, not to mention the coupler is too big for the intercooler outlet, i got it tight but still not sure if its enough to not leak. Ive tried putting them on twice but gave up . Not sure if i should even bother anymore with the stock intercooler and just go for a FMIC. From what i hear the SSAC FMIC can still be got for around ~$310 or whatever it is, so not sure if i should put anymore money into the stock intercooler.

You could have an exhaust shop build you some if you are on a real tight budget. They work perfect. Those look great though. Good luck on your choice, Keith.

I am pretty sure that they guys at Punishment would have no problem putting on a different BOV flange. Just give them a call. And they are really good with their warrenties too. I am actually about to order a set of their intercooler pipes too.
