I recently replaced my leaking clutch master cylinder, in the process I found something.
The clutch lever where it links to the clutch master rod was oblonged. It was worn out and and had a 1/2 inch freeplay! I ordered a new clutch lever and new bushings. Perfect clutch performance now. Anyone else come across this?

Yea, 1g's get it all the time. Don't know about the 2g's but you might have been able to just weld it instead of buying a new one.
