if thats not loud enough, make it minus the muffler.

i used to live in nescopeck/bloomsburg area and thats only 10 minutes away from hazelton, and from past experiences and from a few cop friends i know in the area, they could care less if you drove it with a straight pipe from the manifold to the back of the car without the cat or muffler. you said loud, well thats f'ing loud, and ive seen people get away with it every single time up there.

loudest legal would be cat-back 2.5" or 3" no silencers and can muffler

when my muffler got a hole in it, i took the whole thing off. replaced it with a curved pipe and just a dual 2 inch tip. when it's cold out, the exhaust likes to fart around 2-3.5 thousand rpms. thank god there are no restrictions out here. it's decently loud in it's own right, and has a unique sound to it. at idle it sounds like a v6 beretta(like that's a good thing) it doesn't sound like a ricer(high pitched) until about 5.5-6 thousand, and i hardly go up that far.

im looking for an exhaust, something reasonable in price, something with a good sound, the performance part doesnt really matter to me on this car, its my first car and i dont wanna put the money in it to make alot of horse, more so looking for sound and looks. because wanted a gsx and didnt get one so i go stuck with a non turbo. whats an not to expensive way but legal and not gonna hurt my car to make it sound good.???

Have you ever bought anything on Ebay or just looked before? If it isnt an individual person, and even them sometimes, the price for shipping will be extremely high no matter what you buy. Sometimes the price for shipping will be higher than the actual purchase price. Just the way it is.

o ya a few times,as for the people thing I dont get it.

I think the wierdest shipping prices would have to be some of teh "chips" they literally be 99 cents for BIN but shpping will be like 15 .

meh it serves whoever actually buys those things right

That would be the loudest, but a lack of exhaust doesn't constitute an exhaust system. If that was a serious question, the radiator fans and shroud would quickly be destroyed if you ran an open head. Zoomies would give a similarly horrendous sound, but without catching the engine bay on fire.

I have heard that greddy is one of the loudest exhaust for the eclipse. Also Apexi or HKS is loud.

If you want the loudest, deepest, most annoying exhaust, buy a holley airmass thundermuff catback. Not too bad under 3000, anything over that its just loud, add a header and it just gets worse.

im running DC Sport headers, down pipe, and its cut. the cat and the rest of the exhaust are tied out of the way of the downpipe. thats until tomorrow when i get my exhaust welded.

3 1/2" straight pipe is simply overkill unless you are in the 900+ HP range, and by that point you are probably just running a side exhaust out of your front bumper anyways.

If an N/T driver wants an exhaust that SOUNDS GOOD, and isnt nessescarily the LOUDEST, a bolt on SS Catback 2 1/2" setup from eBay would be ideal. I had it back on my old 99 RS-T and it wasn't "Honda-Loud", but since it was less restrictive and lighter than the stock catback setup, it had a very deep tone when idling and didn't make it sound like you were, pardon my gangster, "poppin' yo' VTECzz", when trying to race against one of your 4G63T counterparts Plus 2 1/2" is good for up to about 350hp-450hp if I am not mistaken (Guru's, check/correct me if need be )

Now for the stock turbocharged 4G63 drivers, 3" is most desirable simply because it eliminates the back pressure that slows down the turbo spool. Going 3" allows for the turbo to spool quicker resulting in a "zippier" acceleration, but also bringing with it the tendency for your boost to spike more.
