Loud Knocking Noise

i got this problem in my 91 talon n/a and its a loud knock type of noise that i hear when i stop put it in 1st gear and turn around a corner and it also does it at 2nd gear but not as much and loudly. i dont think its lifters tick because i think i had before and it went away when i changed my oil. Plus it doesnt sound like its coming from the timing belt area but more like towards the passenger side of the car. i cant really tell because i only hear it when im stepping on the gas while turning in 1st or 2nd gear. if you can please help me out. thanks

Pop the hood and have a friend listen while you dirve it, try and pin point the location. Check your cranky pulley.
