1st pic, i cant remember the size, but you have one sitting on the valve cover on that pic. Just bring it to a hardware store or auto store and they can match it. I think its like a 8mm tho

2nd, idk what you are trying to ask?

3rd, its the overflow line. If your coolant bottle fills, its supposed to overflow through that line. The line is supposed to just be pointed at the ground.

4th, if its before the turbo it wont be a leak, if its after the turbo, just buy a new clamp and put it on. Either way there should be clamps on both those places.

Picture #1: Inner valve cover bolts are M6 x 1.00mm pitch x 20mm in length up to build date 1993.02.3; 22mm in length after that.

Picture #2: Sounds like a bolt hole for the upper timing belt cover. They are M6 x 1.00mm pitch x 16mm in length.

Picture #3: That tube is supposed to be open to the atmosphere.

Picture #4: Almost certainly not having a clamp on that hose will cause a boost leak. Put a clamp on it as soon as possible.

The bolts are NOT 10mm...Their heads are 10mm, the diameter is 6mmx1.00 thread pitch, by 20mm long, as previously mentioned.

ok so i was being dumb pic 2 is cam gear cover bolts and i have those but there is oil by the bearing in the 2 pic what would cause that

in picture number 2 it looks like you may be needing a new valve cover gasket. and as far as those bolts for the valve cover... STM STAINLESS ALLEN CAP VALVE COVER BOLT KIT (90-99 DSM) <--- do this!

would the missing bolts cause leaks cus the gaskets are all brand new ive seen receipts when the previous owner replaced it is when he lost all the bolts ive seen receipts

well... if the outside bolts were missing i'd say yes, because then it wouldn't be tightened down all the way. could be the gasket isn't seated right... although it's kind of hard to screw that up because the gasket fits into a channel on the bottom of the valve cover. if it were me... i'd drain the oil and pop that puppy off and see what's what.

Any of the missing valve cover bolts, save the timing cover and spark plug cover bolts, have the potential to cause a leak. Those inner bolts help the spark plug chamber gaskets seal and, as ktgurl87 mentioned, the outer bolts help seal the valve cover. In the area you have pictured, you may also be dealing with camshaft seals. A valve cover gasket is much simpler to change so most definitely check that first; draining the oil is not at all necessary for that procedure.

When I first looked at the picture I though he was talking about the clamp that held the air filter lid on and I was confused by y'alls answers but then I realized that he was talking about the UICP. Yes, buy a hose clamp ASAP!

I just noticed the clamp for the intake pipe-to-MAF is missing as well. This will not cause a boost leak since it is before the compressor, but having no clamp there is somewhat like dumping your BOV to atmosphere -- there is the possibility of metered air escaping or unmetered air entering the system. That will also require a clamp ASAP.

In addition to what I said last time, the two "inner" valve cover bolts by the cam gears are basically "outer" bolts in that they help seal the valve cover gasket. Missing these bolts can very well be the cause of your leak so get new ones and check if having them stops or slows the leak.
