I know all the oil in the intake came from my busted turbo (waiting on a new one now). I have a few questions though.
I'm pretty sure I had a boost leak at the intake mani where the uicp comes in and bolts onto the throttle; there is a lot of oil around the bottom bolt. I took this off and it looked like it was leaking through the gasket, but the gasket looked fine so I just put some gasket maker around each side and reinstalled it.
Will this be ok and is this where boosts leak occur a lot?
Also, will this get better since I've just installed a catch can or can I blame most of it on the turbo?
I've looked in the ic pipes and there is a lot of oil which I guess came from the turbo. Im working on taking them all out and cleaning them now. Do I also need to clean the ic and how?
Thanks
