Theres a lot of coolant coming out of my 95 gst I just acquired.

I got it with no turbo hooked up, so I bought a 14b from Jet, and put it on using a 14b install kit that came with the car.
And now theres ALOT of coolant coming out of the exhaust.

Initially I thought it was the head gasket, but I tested the compression and it came out to be, 170-165-170-170, so the headgasket should be ok.

Now is the turbo no good? It has absolutly no shaft play, but I did put on a new exhaust housing before installing it. Of did I mess up installing the lines for the coolant to the turbo?

Any help would be much appreciated!

thanks alot!

The turbo housing could be cracked. Stop feeding water to it for a fast check. If that doesn't stop the water then you ###### have a cracked head.

I checked the exhaust housing, and it seemed fine. And the turbo had no shaft play, so Im guessing its the head or head gasket.

Well I thought it was the head gasket and then so I pulled the head and slapped on a new head gasket. Even though the old one was fine.

But anyways, I marked the t-belt and the cam gears but then the markings came off!!!!!!!

So does anyone know how I can get the t-belt on properly with the markings??

basically the cam gears have timing marks you wanna line right up to each other horizontally, and down by crank sprocket there is the timing mark that looks like a V cut out that gets lined up at what would be 10-o-clock, then the oil sprocket has a white mark that gets positioned in about the same place, look at the timing belt changing articles here and on vfaq and it will be clearer, Just make sure you are 110% sure you got it all right, or you could have an even bigger headache and hole in your pocket. if totally unsure, have a pro or pro-equivelant dsmer help you.
