Hello,
I have been doing a load of work on my DSM and had the miss fortune of having to move the car to a new house before she was running. I am almost ready to crank it over now but I've seemed to misplace one of my zip lock bag-O-nut'z with the down pipe to cat bolts and down pipe hanger bolt residing in it.
I am forced to use only my Chilton manual as I have seemed to have misplaced my Haynes as well. One can only hope this is all that I will end up needing but I'm sure wont ...
If someone has the sizes and lengths I should use that would be supper. I have looked through a pound of left overs and came up with nothing that suits my HI PERFORMANCE needs.
Thanks, Sean.

P.S. It may help to know " she's " a 90 eclipse GS-T.

I have a stock downpipe to stock cat from a 1990 GST sitting in my garage. I was about to take them apart anyways to gut the cat. I'll ship the bolts connecting them to you if you'll pay me the shipping.

Yes, yes, yes, that is what I need. I will do that first thing monday morning, thanks. Dont know why I did'nt think to do that I was just there picking up a water/turbo pipe I broke. I'm a little frusterated though. I decided to make the smaller bolts that came with the Magen down pipe work, the problem being that the cat has some heat shielding around it thats in the way of using a bolt and nut ( thats what come with the down pipe ). So I just spent the last hour and a half with the Eclipse on jack stands and my 250 pound ass pressed under tring to pry the shield back far enough to get the nut in there. After getting one bolt tite I find there's not enough room to get the wrench off, and it not the shield this time its the cat it's self. So that sucks and the worst part of it all is the Magen down pipe I thought was a bolt on part but the 3" pipe wont line up to the 2.25" cat, go figure... So there's not much i could do there even with the rite bolts.
So my new problem is, can I drive the car 15 mile to the shop with only the down pipe bolted up and get away with it . I have the cat removing Megan resinator/test pipe but when I had my cat back 2.5" put on I did'nt think to stop them from welding strait to the cat. I nead to get the whole thing down to a welder but the car may not be running yet, I have not tried to start her.

Yes you can but be easy on it and it will be loud as heck!!! No reason to take any chances and hurt her anymore. I feel your pain about being under the car but thats where I have the advantage of being a skinny little bastard, just more room to work,LOL! Awhile back I ran over something and it ripped thru my exhaust right before the cat and I drove it for 20 miles or so and it was fine I just got looked at alot. Good luck!

I feel the need to finish this thread. I got the exhaust all together. I had a friend weld me together a 2.5" up to a 3" pipe with flange. I use my salz-all and dremel to cut the 2.5" pipe welded to my cat; that was a pain with the car 1 1/2 feet off the floor. I bolted the Megen hi-flow cat to the Megen down pipe, slapped the coupler my friend made on, used a "U" bolt clamp to seal it until I can get the car down to the shop to be welded.

Thats it. Didn't seem right just leaving the thread hanging like that. Now its complete.
