OK i really don't know how to explain myself on this one but am going to try. I got this 98 gsx with a 6 bolt swap in it and the thing was a beast. 1st couple days driving it it would boost like a nut. When i 1st got it i could hit 22psi of boost no problem. I lowered the boost to be on the safe side to about 18psi for everyday driving. The car would still kinda put your back to the seat when you hit 18psi. Now it struggles to get to 18psi but it still does only under WOT and it doesn't put you in the back of the seat anymore... Hope that makes sense any info...

Check your compression, turbo shaft play, get a datalog of knock and timing, see what your Air to Fuel ratios are throughout the powerband...

Why the he'll are you boosting that high?! You don't have any fuel mods listed in your profile and you have DSMLink. Are you logging at all to see what the motor is doing?

Yo shouldn't be boosting more than13-15 psi on stock fuel. Moniter your IDC% (injector duty cycle) along with knock to justify how high you can set it. You want your IDC t be 80% or lower. Once you hit 100% the injector is no longer pulsing and it's 100% open all the time.

Whaat kind of struggling are you talking about? Does it justtake longer now or doe it not hit those numbers?

Have you done a boost leak test or looked for pre turbo exhaust leaks?

I have not done a boost leak test yet but it's getting down today. I do have 650cc injectors i wasn't sure where to put it so i added it to "bolt ons" I am logging kinda put i do not have a wideband installed yet. I got this car 2 weeks ago and i work about 50 hours a week so i am trying to find time to sneak stuff in. It does not take longer i don't think but it struggles to hit boost

The only thing that i can notice is the the downpipe is loose going into the stright pipe would that cause power loss?
