1999 original long block gst. Not burning any oil. 130,000 miles.
So a window broke and I didn't start or drive the car for about 10 days. When I went to start it it ran fine but when I ran it through the rpms up to 3k, I noticed exhaust smoke. I shut it down and checked the oil level. It was a quart low so I added a quart, and drive it for a few miles with no exhaust smoke noted. Rechecked the oil and it was fine, same level. So over the next week I've started it everyday and let it idle for 5 min. I notice a really small amount of white smoke from the exhaust, like just a barely visible thread. I went to check the oil level again and it's down 1/2 to 3/4 quart!
No puddles or noticeable leaks under the car or on the ground. Anyone had a similar problem or know if I can lose that much oil idling without much smoke?
