Looking to buy

I'm looking for a dsm in the oklahoma city area to buy i have between 1000-2000 to spend. This will be my first dsm. I'm not looking for something already fixed up I am in master auto-mech school so i wanna do it myself,but i have 8 instructors to make sure i do all my mods right. but just leave what you have here and I get on here all the time and read so this will get checked regularly. How soon do you need one? I'm leaving to camp pendleton in June and ill be getting rid of my
RS. I have some stuff done to it but I would let it to for 2000 simply because of the high mileage

I forgot to mention I live in amarillo Texas which is a couple hour drive from ok city

Uhh not to ruin the moment but you guys live far away. If your looking to get a dsm, I would get a tsi or gst.

to jpm: Yeah it is a drive for me. and yeah I want one with 4g63t in it hoping to find a gst or gsx with bad h/g or something not too expensive to fix.

Thanks and yea I might just step up my budget but if i do I will have no room for the car breaking down so I would have to find a car that is running good w/o any problems.
