looking for mmcd and cable for laptop

i need to know where i can get the mmcd software and i need a cable for my laptop to connect to the diagonistic port on my car. does any one make these cables or do you have to make one for yourself. does any one have one for sale. let me know my email is [email protected] or peoplepc.com either one will work.

ive only seen MMCD ran on a palm. Im not completly positive they dont have a program that would work on a laptop. I do know you can get a palm, cable, and software on ebay for around $100. Which is not bad.

Now im asking a quick question too, I need just the cable. Anyone know who sells just the cable and not the software or palm with it?

I made my own cable with parts from radio shack....took me about 3 minutes to make...

I wanted to run a similar setup with my car pc. I gave up after awhile and am using a palm now. But there are some palm emulators out there that you can load onto a laptop I dont know if you can get them to work with a sieral cable of some kind but you could try.
