Looking for Control arms

Hey everyone. I need to replace the lower control arms on my car. Does anyone know a good sight that sells them? The dealer is asking a shit load of $$$ for the Lower Lateral arm, and i want to find it somewhere else if i can. Thanks

Are you talking about the front lower lateral control arms? And are you saying that a dealer actually said these would cost a lot to replace on your car?

there are the two control arms. The second one, the lateral control arm is the one they said was $280.

The straight one (aka the lower lateral control arm) is under a recall and they must replace it for free. Even if they somehow deny the recall (which they cannot), it costs almost nothing and takes maybe 20 min per side to install; should be under $150 for both sides.

The curved one (aka the compression arm) is suprisingly expensive, but should only take them 15 min per side to install.

If you are talking about the lower lateral arms, then talk to the service manager and/or go elsewhere. If you are talking about the compression arms, then $280 for both installed might be fair.

Why the heck do you need to replace both arms, anyway?

If the ball joint is bad on the rear curved one (which happens) the ball joint IS replaceable at any decent machine shop.

well im going to take it up today to have the lateral arms replaced. I got the two mixed up because the chiltons manual said the straight arm is the lateral arm.

I need to replace both of them, because im taking a auto alignment class, and we put my car up on a lift and it sounds like both are bad, but ill have the dealer do that lateral arms, and if its still there, ill do the compressions arms.
