looking for any and all advice......

so about 2 months ago i took on the project of changing out a bunch of parts of my first 4g63........thats where the problems start

the car 92' galant vr4
built motor (ross/eagle)
fp3065
keydiver chipped ecu
precision 1000cc injectors
greddy emanage
aeromotive regulator
3" gm maft

so heres where in at with the trouble end of it.

the car will not rev past 3800 rpms.
it idles rich as hell like there is no maf at all.
it compressor surges and all types of crap at like 3800 rpms.

the car was in dare i say great working order before installing all the prior mentioned mods so it rules out alot of reused items like plug wires ect.

i am at a loss for what else it could be. the timing is right, i set it like 4 times to be sure.

the maft turns on and functions afik, but i have a check engine light.

i completly unplugged the emanage to eliminate that from the equation.

i have no vaccum leaks at all.

maybe a small exhaust leak but thats it.

seeing as this is also my first 4g63 i have even less of an idea what could be wrong......

Find out what code the engine is throwing from the check engine light and start there.

12 Volume air flow sensor

the maf translator leds illuminate as they should and the green is on while the car is running..should i assume the sensor itself is bad or possibly the chip wasnt burned for the correct maft?

every electrical connection is perfect..is it common for the sensor to go bad?
