my friend is looking at a auto 1g..the car has basic mods
14b conversion
front mount
coil on plug
o2 housing
downpipe
3inch exhaust
no ecu mods(mayb manual ec)
450cc injector

the owner states the car sputters and cannot get up to highway speeds he doesnt want to deal with it..we are going to look at it soon..what should i look for as for as fixing the issue ?
he said it wont be spark wires or plugs..he said the motor is fine and its pulling 018 to -22 vacuum at idle good compression 100k stockblock stock boost..he no boost leak he did a test?

Ecu caps leaking, timing off a tooth, get rid of the C.O.P. setup, Plugged fuel filter, Just to start.

No wires hanging down, plug gap. He said good compression but what were the numbers?

how about torque converter since you said its auto?
