Just got finished installing my 3k HID foglights. It wasnt exactly the easiest thing to do. Stock wiring harness didn't like them. So I ran new direct power wires to them. Got em working:thumb:. And my 6khid low beams. What do you think. (sorry the pic isnt the best she's in the garage in dark to show the light and protect from snow :)

Please say that's a retro and not the stock reflector, don't be that guy that irritates and blinds all oncoming drivers because they didn't do it right.

To all of you guys. Its not a retro fit. I agree it would probably be the best thing for it... But I dont know a whole lot about retrofitting. Just a little. And no they do not glare to on coming. Althought i had 12k in my old talon. They looked good. But I dont know what i was thinking :ohdamn:

To many people run around with high k hid now i think

I like the refined look alot more.

How many times have you seen your car coming at you in the oncoming traffic lane?

It glares. It sucks.

Someone gets blinded by HIDs in reflector housings because people put HIDs in and just go. Rather then take the time to align headlights and lower then so they don't kill everyone elses eyes.

I get blinded by more people with improper headlight height rather then people with HIDs in reflector housings. I hate all the TLs and TSXs around here with there crap pointed to the moon.

Exactly, that bothers me more than putting HID's in stock housing's

I agree. They won't blind anyone if you aim them down... I get tired of all the whining and complaining about retrofits. I have a DDMTuning kit installed and aimed properly, I never get high beamed.

I live in WV a lot of the roads are dark people forget to turn their highbeams off all the time, do I flash them to let the know that they blinded me... No it isn't that big of a deal, look at the white line to your right if you sense you are going to get blinded and you are fine.

Looks good to me anyway. Just make sure you aren't blinding anyone. What kit did you use for these along with ballast wattage?

I just did this yesterday as well. Had a pair of eBay housings fitted with OEM projectors sitting in the garage since March. The kid I bought these off of said they were aligned brut I'll have to check when I get my car all together.

Bi xenon with clear lenses. The housings are a little hacked up internally but sometime down the road I'll get new housings to redo this setup.

My headlights get people to flash there highs at me and all I'm using is a silvania oe replacement bulb. None of that silverstar crap, within 5 watts to stock wattage.

My headlights are angled perfectly. I spent 2 hours after store hours at walmart with a alignement banner and the side of walmarts building. Here in Michigan your passengers side headlight is set to a different length of distance than the drivers side headlight is. I even have my fogs set perfect and still after 3 attemps to adjust I still get flashed. HID's and how bad it can fry wireing. That don't sit right with me and I wont put my electrical system in jepordy like that.

I understand all the concern about blinding people but I assure you, they are not adjusted up into peoples eyes. They are adjusted down, so they dont.

It's all right dude, people are just concerned that's all. It's the fact most people don't install these lights properly and cause issues for others. If you are defending yourself this much then I believe you, also I wont ever AFAIK see you driving the opposite direction of me at night anyway.

SHOOT....

I was talking about my stock headlight bulbs beeing blinding LOL. I like HID's but I probably wont be running them again atleast not without upgrading to a larger gauge wiring after mine melted on me LOL. In my old pontiac I had. I just straight up sold the car for $300 because I didn't want to deal with it ROFL. The guy used the car for a crash derby and didn't need lights so he wanted it.

Now that I think of it. I bet hes the only person whos ever been at that bump and run track with a supercharged 3800 in the derby LOL.

Good work thow. They do look nice to the OP and liquidx. Sorry to hear about the DSM'rs ADD liquidx. I think I have a mild case of it as well. That or I just give up on my own stuff to help others out LOL.

Hahaha, I'm awaiting my new turbo whih should be in on Wednesday. In the mean time I went and pulled the lights and swapped out mine. I do enjoy working on the car but I don't think it's enough that I'll pull the turbo out to swap lights ROFL
