TELL ME what you think, i painted my rims

Ok guys first off, I Sold my rims for 1000 the good one si had, to find out the money order was conterfeit so im pist besides that i had to put on my older ugly ass rims, Second any you guys know of some "GOOD" paint thats relaible and good stuff for painting rims. this is just tempaory tho tell me what you guys think... First pic is the rims that got stolen from me, second pic is natural color of the pittyfull rims 3rd pic is the painted ones.

Exactly what I thought when I saw those bad boys. I remember those from like 10 years ago, and how nasty they are. I must admit though, they look WAY better with the black paint, and on your 2G, I remember seeing them most on those old late 80's early 90's Thunderbirds, ew, hideous. Good job though, your paint job looks good from the pic.

Ugly ass rims though. Might be a little more tolerable if you do a body color match instead of solid black or at least do a 2nd tone for the lip. Solid black just makes them look worse.

I had the same rims you had that got jacked. Sorry to hear that. But the black looks better even on those nasty rims. I would rather have some hub caps painted if you have steelies. They can look kinda cool if done right.

Yeah well it sucks because a dsmtuners member sent him a $1000 counterfit money order, And now someone on this board is driving around with his rims on. He now hasto work with what he has. I think it looks alot better then when you first put them on in ''silver''.

Yeah, I know the feeling. I got raped for $5000 on DSMTrader 3 years ago. The wife and I just finished paying it off a few months ago. ####ers....

A member sent him a money order, He sent the rims out and cashed the money order. Bank calls over week later and says money order was fake. Thing is, Banks do not need to hold money orders, Which would be the reason he didn't ''hold'' it until it ''clears''. The only way a money order can be refunded by the sender is if, They have it in their hand. That is the only way.

Anyhow, to answer your question. Duplicolor wheel paint works wonders. Plenty of people on here including myself have used it with great results. Just spend the time on prepwork and you'll be satisfied with the end result.

I painted my wheels 9 months ago with Duplicolor and they still look great. There's threads floating around here on Duplicolor paint, just do a search on it.

What springs do you have on there? What size are the rims?

Although it was. I sold him a new greddy evo exhaust, And have been helping him via aol for the past 3 weeks with his car. He said that it was a member on the board that made the conterfiet money-order, And took his rims. He is not going to post any information in the forums as it is not allowed, Although actions are being taken from what he said.

i can reccomend the duplicolour wheel paint. Especially the graphite colour if you dont want to leave them flat black

That the colour. With a good primer, basecoat and clear they are pretty durable as well

the rims look decent with the black paint. I think it's because it takes the 3 spoke effect away

Anyway, about your situation...you can file for mail fraud and take the case to court. It's happened to me and after taking it court, the guy couldn't make the long drive down from New Jersey to show up. He now has a warrant out for his arrest in this state.
