So, I got my engine back from the shop the other day, all nicely rebuilt and shiny looking, but the issue is EVERY bolt on the engine was in a big pile in the bottom of a container....

Pretty simple to get the head bolts, the valvecover as well as the oil pan ones, but that still leaves 30 come odd bolts kicking around..
I'm just wondering if anyone has a bolt map or specifications as to what connection requires what size.

Thanks folks!

Sorry man, can't help you with a map per say, but I will offer this... Next time use some old yogurt cups for all of your hardware as you pull it.. Use one cup per area of the car that you are working on and sharpie the lid to remind you what goes where, so you are all set once you are ready to put it all back together.

Boosted - I'm normally pretty good at keeping things where they belong, but like I said, the shop just gave me back all the parts in the bottom of a bin... grrrrr
And 19Eclipse, Thats beautiful!!! I have the service manual and it helps out on a couple parts, but that other link, well hot damn, thats just what I need. Thanks man!

so far so good... its been an interesting day trying to fill in the voids that neither document had, or putting similar bolts where I don't have them.
Oh well, all in good DSM fun!
