okay so i don't know if this has been asked or not...done a lot of reading on here but still haven't seen what i'm quite looking for. so please don't rip my head off just curious! LOL. so when you are logging with palm n stein...i'm using the rom for laptops but anyways the o2 readings give your your a/f ratio at least upstream one does im aware of that but is that real time like a wideband shows you or no? is it still narrow band? thanks for the help.

on 2gs i log the STFT and LTFT fuel trims you want to keep them as close to zero as possible the 02 voltage should be right around 93 at WOT if i remember correctly its been a while since i used palm and the o2 still reads narrow band if that helps you any

Yes it's still narrow band, unless of course you have a wide band o2 sensor. If by "real time" you mean what is happening when the logger sent the request for the data, then yes. It does log real time A/F ratio's. The thing with the narrow band is that they aren't accurate enough to be worth the time to try and tune with. Your talking about a 1 volt sweep. I do not recommend using the factory, or any other narrow band o2 sensor for tuning. When I tune cars on pump gas and take my WB back out, the factory narrow band usually see's around 0.87 to 0.91 volts on WOT pulls. Again I do not recommend using the narrow band o2 sensor for any tuning.

hey that is exactly what i needed to know. thank you guys much. and yes I will be looking into buying a wideband 02 and guage here in the near future so between the logging the wideband and the safc i should be able to do some decent tuning for the time being..anyways thank you much everyone for the insight! -Dan :thumb:
