I already had a logger cable but no plam device so i ordered a "complete setup" online and it was suppose to come with everything needed to log, but it only came with a palm and a cord. the cord is different from the one i have and the palm wont hook up to my old cord which had a connector that plugged directly into the diag connector. The new cable is really cheap, it has 3 spade female connectors and came with no instructions on how the *(&#$ to hook it up. does anyone know where those three ends go? they are to big to even fit on any of the diag spade male ends. also do most people that log have a cable that goes directly into the palm itself or do you have to use the on desk stand part to go to the logger cable?? Im not happy with the buy and would never buy from the guy again

For my Palm IIIc I went on ebay and got a serial/USB split cord. It hooks to the bottom of my palm and I have the serial cord going to the OBD port and the USB to a 12v power source so its always charging. I think the cable was like $3 on ebay...I can give you a link if you'd like.

I foudn instructions on how to hook it to the OBD and it will moitor everything fine...2 knock at 850prm......??? but i checked the log box and ran around the block just a normall drive with a 1/2 throttle blast since i have no exhaust and its late. It shows that its saved or whatever on the start up screen but when i click on it there are no numbers or anything just a half asssed graph and the time it was taken with a scroller. i hooked it to the computer to see if maybe it could find the data but it doesnt even show that program. I hate buying SHI*T that has no instructions on how to hook it up let alone use any of the functions.........i need help ASAP :barf:

Aight i foudn the data somehow...i had clicked on the file name "log1" like 10 times and then i turned it off and back on and clicked on it and it was there. But i still ahve the problem that i cant get it to my computer. I can transfer phone numbers and addresses but no logging. sorry im such a dumb@zz but i need the help

I can transfer phone numbers and addresses but no logging. YES I INSTALLED IT. im not that dumb. and i tried to install PNstien since the instructions i have say i need it, they also say to press F4 on the palm to do stuff but my logger has no F4 nor an option to use it. I can transfer all sorts of stuff jsut nothing from the MMCD program. the whole reason i wanna get them on my PC is to post them to see what the heck my car is doing i think if i dont get a responce shortly im going to set fire to the car with the logger in it cuz i have been fighting the RELIABLE DSM hahahahahhaha oxy moron, for a year and a half

Depending on what version of MMCd you got, you can cause the log to get uploaded by selecting the log on the main screen and then clicking on the title bar and selecting Rename/Upload and clicking the box to upload on hotsync. Once it's on your PC you need the MMCdtools software to work with the data.

To look at your log in MMCd you need to select the log then click Review. Select the items you logged and want to review and select the point on the graph you want to see the data from, possibly dragging the scroll bar around to see the right place in the log.

The latest version of MMCd is available from http://www.3si.org/forum/showpost.php?p=2036610&postcount=1
MMCdtools from http://mmcdtools.sourceforge.net/
