Logger Cable needs adapter but where!!!

ok I just bought a logger cable for my palm but the guy sent me the one for a laptop(serial) well I cant connect it to my palm because the palm has that small 25 pin connector forgot what its called. Where can I get an adapter? I have looked at Null adapters but none that fit from that palm to serial connection. I went to radioshack and they looked at me funny I dont see them on ebay either. I emailed the seller a few mins ago. Even in his add its states for 5 more bucks you can get some type of adapter that you can just switch for it to go into a laptop or just the palm and I cant find them. Please help!!!! show me a link to where I can get one. I need to log asap. thanks..

That link shows a replacement for the hotsync cable normally used in a datalogger setup.
The typical Palm logger cable ends in a male DB9 connector to mate with the serial hotsync cable that fits your Palm.

So are you really asking for a hotsync cable? Which Palm do you have?

Just the adapter like that. If I get the the hotsync cable then I have to get a female Db9 connector to fit the male Db9 from my logger cable. Plus I have another few feet of wires since the hotsync cable to deal with. Plus if I even go laptop I just change the connector around. Hope I made sense. Its a Palm125

The hotsync cable ends in a female DB9 and that's what the logger cable is intended to plug into. If you get some other adaptor you'll have to figure out how it's configued. It could be set up as a DTE to connect to a modem or as a DCE like the hotsync cable to talk to another computer.

Seems like it would be easier to just get the sync cable then. I'm gonna go ahead and get one from ebay. thanks for the help Steve much appreciated!!!
