So I data logged today. Found could be number 31 Knock senser shows up in the logger. Also where should I be knocking? My TPS sits at 10.1 at idle. Could the 31 senser be bad causing my problems?

If your knock sensor triggers the CEL, then you will get no timing advance and your performance will be greatly reduced. Check to make sure the knock sensor is properly connected to the harness and is securely screwed into the engine block.

You shouldn't be knocking at all.

So are you getting a CEL code or are you telling us you get 31 counts of knock during a pull?

Well what happend when I looged is I did the test on my logger and I saw the 31knock senser on it. When I did a test run and logged it I got at like 9 knock at a couple points. I will have to try to logg again to see what happens.

So just so I have this right you are telling us you have a cel code for knock sensor and when you log a run you get 9 counts of knock.

Did you try to clear the code to see if it comes back?

Yeah when I start the car the CEL doesnt come on right away and test mode doesnt show up. But if I start reving and what not it will kick the CEL light and #31 knock senser goes on the logger.
