I'm having no trouble finding the gasket that goes between the throttle body and intake manifold. However, I'm coming up empty handed locating the gasket that goes on the other side of the throttle body - between it and the elbow. This is for a 1991 GVR4. I haven't tried the dealer yet, as the most local one is about 25 miles away. Is anyone able to source these from a national autoparts store - Autozone, Napa, Oreilly's?

What I've done many times was buy a roll of gasket paper (Felpro brand from what I recall), traced an outline of the old TB gaskets, and cut out new ones. Then I used a thin layer of RTV on both sides. Sealed perfectly fine.

I've run into this problem as well in the past. None of the major retailers I checked (Napa, O'Reillys, Autozone) carried the throttle body elbow gasket separately. I ended up purchasing the Fel-Pro Turboe gasket kit mentioned by a previous poster. I've included a link below to Napa's website showing the kit, but you can find this same kit at all the major retailers.

That Felpro part number I listed above will work for both sides of the throttle body. It just won't all be tucked behind the flange.

I think 61490 (possibly or 61432) may work for the other side (elbow to throttle body), but I'm not 100% sure.

It seems that 61490 is a special order Felpro part for Advance Auto, Autozone, and O'Reilly's.

Thanks all! Wes, I think that 61490 is just what I need for the elbow side. I have too noticed that this is included in the turbo / tune up gasket kit. Just was hoping to save $25 if I could. Thanks much!
