local shop Top Mount manifolds

I live in Pasco,washington. Theres to speed shops that i trying to decide to go to and make my top mount manifold, i posted pics wanted to get your opinion on which one you would run out of the two.

it looks like the top pic would bolt to the stock exhaust, if thats the case then i would go with that

I would probly go with the first manifold. I guess it depends what size turbo your going to throw on it. The second one, from this picture doesn't look like there would be enough room for the housing to fit without interfering with the hood. Why do you want a top mount?

I don't think he'll get his hood closed on either of those exhaust manifolds.

I'll repeat; why do you want a top mount?

I like the look of the top mount. But after thinking im going to go with fp manifold ceramic coated.. thinking of either running fp68hta or the pte 5557 billet.

Anyone have any experience with there turbos? ill be running either 650 cc injectors with 250 walbro. looking for 350 whp on fwd 90 eclipse.

Wow those are awesome looking manifolds, do you know how much they are going to charge to have one made? Seeing those really makes me wish i could weld!

Do they have any cars with "long term" millage on there manifolds? Do they come with a lifetime warrenty? Are they a supporting vender? (the last one is probably no, I'm not trying to be rude, but shops pay good money and it's always good to support them)..

These are all very good questions. I would want to know the shops credentials before paying a few hundred to have a manifold made.

A topmount manfold doesn't locate the turbo in the factory position, so no factory exhaust hookup.

PS - Please find the shift key.

The top one is made from Rods cars, he very experienced and make custom manifolds for anything. Rods C.A.R.S.

The bottom is made from kaizenspeed, If you know the alex shuster talon if you dont just look it up on youtube. they make anything and everything you can think of. Go on there website and look at the custom fabrication see the manifolds for dsm. KAIZENSPEED | KAIZENSPEED Reid lunde is the main guy there if you want to talk to anyone about making one.

Plenty of hood space and power steering compatible.

not my car just on display at rods cars shop.

Number 1 looks like the winner. But welds and longevity matter more than top mounting. No high miles on one of these?

Why are you even considering a top mount manifold for a turbo that small. That turbo is made to bolt to the stock manifold and use the stock style o2 housing. Just get a ported 2g, evoIII or an fp manifold. It will be a TON easier to set everything up.

I decided coming with the top choice with pte entry level 5431e with billet wheel.
