well i took my 1995 tsi fwd to a local shop to be pa state inspected today. The car has been running great for weeks. I drop it off they tell me it needs new brake pads in the rear and the horn dont work and the hasard button is hiding behind my afc and temp gauge (the last two i already knew about but forgot to fix before droping it off.). But anyway when i go to pick it up it wont start it cranks and cranks but nothing, can smell fuel. I am going this morning to see where and if it is losing spark. Any idea where else i can look? It was raining for 10 hrs before they would have had a chance to look at and and they said it was having a hard time starting for them from the beginging. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You dropped it off running, they had it for a while and now it won't start? Sounds like their problem to me. If they give you any trouble, talk to the manager.
