Link on a relatively stock car?

Ok I am thinking of adding dsm link even though my car is basically stock.

1998 Gsx with an air filter and cat back exhaust. Picking up a FP manifold today. I've also got a greddy big fmic I picked up that I'm getting anodized black that will go on when the Evo 3 does.

Picked up a 95 EPROM already setup to work with link.

I'm wanting to switch to E85 and upgrade the fuel system with the stock T25 before going to an Evo 3.

What are the benefits/drawbacks to using link with a basically stock setup. I want to get familiar with link and it's capabilities.

I know it's a different approach than most take but I think doing it this way will keep me from being limited down the road.

I wish I would have installed link before any mod on the car. Your right thinking the way you are. Later on down the road you will thank yourself! Not having link is a pain for me right now.. Taxes are here to save the day tho!

Having link now will allow you to get the most out of the parts you instal. There is no drawback from installing it now.

Tom is right. There are no draw backs at all for being able to log and tune your car even if you would be 100% stock. Get link and don't look back.
