ok sounds good whenever i get going tomorrow ill try and take my time getting things right and post up some logs and wait to see what you think about them LOL.

Once you need to start working on timing, the best way is to use the track datalog feature and find out what cells are hit. But make sure to adjust surrounding cells as it could vary by pull which you use.

Ok so I did a 3rd gear pull and it was running really rich, like 9-1. I'm not sure if that's expected, but I'm guessing it is since it is tuning after all.
The best news of the day is my laptop charger crapped out on me so I can't post the logs right now. My main question right now is if I adjusted the Maft comp right. What I did was get the log and scrolled through it looking at the mafraw, found the hertz ( 1000,1100,etc) and looked at the wbfactor and adjusted that slider in Maft comp to whatever the number was on the wbfactor. I'll try to get this laptop working and post the log of the pull and a split second log so you can see the Maft adjustments.

My laptop has 4% battery remaining, so I got lucky.
Here are the logs.

1. Make sure you hold the throttle all the way down throughout the pull. If you look at the first posted log, you'll see you started to lift towards the end.

2. What boost setting is this on? Any indications if boost is staying solid the whole way through the pull or possibly dropping off?

3. Looks like you can use some MAF Comp calibration at the beginning of the pull (7.218 to 10.507 seconds).

4. My next suggestion would be to lean out the bottom corner of the MaxOct fuel DA table. I'd shoot for 11:1.

5. I'd leave timing where it's at for now until we get the MAF/fuel dialed in well. But it's good to see you don't have any knock!

P.S. The last log contains nothing ;)

Ok I will make sure to hold the gas all the way down the whole time next log.

I am pushing around 18psi according to my boost gauge. It holds pretty steady all the way through just bounces a little bit on the number.

I will look into that section of the log and see what is needed there.

I'll lean it out in that area like you said I'm hoping to run a solid 11:1 all through boost eventually.

I was very happy, I didn't see any bit of knock at all thankfully. Gotta love those evo maps as a starting base.
The last log was just to show the Maft comp adjustments I made, just so I could see if the sliders looked ok.

Side note I hate using forums on iPhone LOL. Such a great day for tuning is going to be wasted because of my laptop charger.

Look into a power inverter for the car. Or a cigarette lighter charger depending on what laptop you have.

Yea I had one but used it to long one day and burnt it up LOL, harbor freight.
The main problem is my actual laptop charger broke somehow. The light on the box in the middle of the cord won't light up and it's making a weird noise. Guessing I'm gonna have to order a new one.
