Hey guys - having some electrical problems in my 1992 eagle talon n/t. I realize there could be many possible options to what's causing it, just looking if anyone has had a similar problem to give me some advice on where to look. Here's what's happened -
10A tail light fuse keeps blowing out. probably a short somewhere, right?
The lights on my interior knobs no longer work, as well as the light around my cigarette lighter and the key slot ignition. I checked the fuses under the dash, the 15A cigarette fuse was blown. Replaced it, lights still don't work.
Replaced all tail light bulbs, sockets, checked for rust or corrosion, all clean.
The two lights on the driver side/passenger side floor do turn on when doors open.
Light switch by the rearview mirror works.
Light in the trunk does not turn on when doors open.
My alarm/anti theft no longer "chirps" when i used the remote locks. The lights on the exterior do flash when i use the remote IF the tail light fuse is not blown.
Here's the kicker, there is no 100A Alt. fuse in the engine fuse box!! WTF? Is there supposed to be one there? There is one on my '93 Turbo.. I'll include some pics here. Thanks to anyone who took the time to read my predicament! Any suggestions are very much appreciated.
