Okay the other night I noticed that at idle when I would press the brake pedal the lights would dim. When I would use the turn signal as soon as I hit it the lights dim real quick as well as all the dash night lights. The ALT is new and the battery terminals are tight. I have never noticed this before but I just installed the SAFC2, could there be a wiring issue. The battery function on the AFC is reading 14.1v without lights on at idle but when lights are turned on it drops to 13.5v or 13.7v. Yes I have the AFC hooked up right followed directions to a tee. Is this going to cause a bigger problem? What does everyone think? Both headlights and dash lights dim and then return to full brightness. I'm not dropping past 12.5v ever so I think I shoud be okay but any help is greatly appreciated.
Also I did not tap any of the wires for my AFC they were all cut, my buddy had his done that way and did not have any problems. I did make sure that all wires were covered good with e-tape.
