Lighter Jack

Alrite i know this isnt really important especially since i dont smoke and wont allow it in my car but the guy before me tore the lighter jack out and now all i have is a wire with a green connector on the end of it with nowhere to go, the actualy jack, and a little light that i have no idea where goes, how do i put this all back together?

The guy before me tore out the lighter jack and right now its completely out of the dash and its just het jack and a green plug and a littel light i nwould like ot know how to put it back together once i buy a new one or if this one can be salvaged and what the hell is that little light for

I've had mine out before. The green wire is the 12V, I think you should have a white wire too...but I don't remember. The light is for the ring around the lighter, just like the ignition.

If he hasn't cut the ends off the wires, all you have to do is connect them up and you're done.

there are 2 wires coming from the jack and tehn that extra one with the plug what is the extra for i cant find anywhere to hook it up
