Lighter wiring

I have a 90 eclipse, auto 1.8. I need to know what color wire is used for the lighter and what plug it is in. I would like to not have to remove the council to find out.

I think the negative is black and the positive is striped(green/white).

That's what it was on my '92 N/T Eclipse 2L.

Thats they was it is on my 92. But to get to it there are only 4 screws + removing your shifter knob. Its like a 2 minute process to get to it.

Thank god! I thought you meant lighter wiring to shed some weight. haha Yeah rewire the car to save 4.7 ounces. I think RRE has a boost gauge installation guide on their website that shows what the lighter wires are to tap into for a backlight.
