ok, so some guy is sending me a set of reverse lights from a 97

so my idea is that i take them since they are an extra set, use them in the front as a turn signal! ?

Yeah, but I'd experiment a little to see how you like them. Since your car is black you could experiment overlaying it in black vinyl and just seeing what fits your taste.

i'd second that.. get a cheap brand of fogs or something and use those
