Lift for clearance?

I have a '95 GSX, when I bought it, it had already been lowered 2" and a rear camber kit installed. The springs are Eibach coil overs, and the shocks are GAB 4 way adjustable. I have 3 sets of rims for this car (stock 1G GSX and stock 2G talon TSI AWD and a set of Rota slipstreams) and I was thinking very seriously about buying a nice set of studded snow tires for one of the stock sets of rims and using the car for snowboard trips... What I don't know about is how I would be able to go about lifting the car 3-4" (to compensate for the drop and then pick up a little more snow clearance) while maintaining drivability?

I know this is usually the opposite of what people want to do with these cars, but I'm hoping someone with some knowledge of these cars, and suspension tech might be able to point me in the right direction (without telling me to buy an EVO )

Are you planning to lower it again for the summer? If so, then that's two alignments a year and all the work involved in swapping the springs each time (or getting coilovers once and adjusting them twice a year). Might be better to just get an....

With that said, that's exactly what I did back in PA with my DSM. Stock suspension in the winter; Koni and sleeves in the summer.

Yea, it is likely that it will be lowered in the summer, lifted in the winter. The springs are coil overs - I'm just not familiar with how cranking them up will effect the car's handling/alignment/etc.

id tell ya to buy a subaru..ha
you could see if there are some spacers that will work ( i think english racing had some on a talon they used for the dunes but i dont know for sure)

Hate to bump, but I'm in the same situation, snow season is here, would like to increase the stock ride hight.
