Lets see your coolant overflow tanks!

hey guys, i am all but done sexy'ing up my engine bay, and dont want to put the ugly coolant overflow tank back in, id love to get a polished aluminum one, or something really good looking, that wont destroy the look of my cleaned up bay. Can you guys post some pics of what you have done?

Thats good looking, however i have a big ic pipe, and a big turbo in the way of the stock location. i was thinking more along the lines of an aftermarket tank.

My concern at the moment is do i need to have 2 hoses coming from it? My stocker has 1 going in it from the thermostat housing, and one coming out the lid down the side for like a breather or something. Will capping off that other side or building this overflow without it... would that do anything to effect it?

The other side is basically an overflow, when the bottle is totally filled it starts leaking out of the other side.

To the op heres a basic one on ebay, you can get fancy with a sight glass if you want, they are about $20 more

thats what i want, but im way to impatient for the mail man... I went all around town and found the NOS bottle drink, got a little scared cause they are selling them in cans now. :O! Got one anyhow, and will have pics tomorrow...should be awsome.

Honestly this is why i want to do this . Every riceboi and thier mom tells me i should put nos in my car and i'm always saying no no ef that... However... by doing something like this i can be all like "the only nos i will ever have in my car" and you people will actually get it. Or when i pop the hood ricerbois will be all like dude she has nos, that's so bad**s!"

That thing looks sexy in my car (pictured in my car above). It fit like a glove and doesn't look obnoxious like those universal round ones. It cleared my Dejon piping no problem.

Wouldnt you want to bottle to be standing so there is less of a chance that the oil will get back into the intake?

But i was got to start this same thing as soon as i got home!!
