So, sorry for my ignorance but this will be my first post.

Lets make it a game... lets play, who can figure out what the problem is with this picture and what would be the best way to repair it. ;) Hope you guys can help.

(trying to provide entertainment back to the comunitee as well as getting my question answered =)

Thank you every much...wow...diagrams and everything. Really appreciate it. Wondering if you can let me know 2 more things...

1. How can you tell what type of motor you are running? (the guy who sold it to me said it was a EVO III, but a mechanic told me it wasn't, and well, i don't belive either =)

2. I have almost replaced all the motor mounts excect for the one in the back (thanks to this forum and for www.dsm.org for all the help) but i have run into a problem. The bolts are not only stripped, but seem to be fused to the frame (at least it feels that way) =) I can't get in with a bolt extrator with one of the bolts since the motor tab thing is right above it (no access), what are my options?

1. The EVO III would be the turbo, not the engine. Call the dealership and give them the VIN number, they will tell you exactly which engine you have as long as no one as replaced it.

2. The nuts that the bolts go into for the motor mount are welded onto the frame. Make sure you have a breaker bar when loosening these, if you are just using a lot of extension and a regualr socket wrench, you are going to have a hard time getting the bolts off for the first time. If all else fails, do what I did. Go buy some junk sockets and then shove JB weld into the socket. Then shove the socket onto the bolt (making sure it doesn't touch the frame, only the bolt.) Let it dry and then crank the sucker off.

The guy who sold it to me said it was replaced... =( He said to a EVO III. Just don't know where to look on the engine for some kind of code to see what engine it actually is. Seems to run faster than a regular 1g talon turbo (looks like a 14b).

And it's the HEAD of the bolt.
